After securing more than £670,000, the city of Plymouth will now be trialing a new night
bus service as part of its new recommended safety measures.
The initiative follows calls for action after the murder of teenager Bobbi-Anne Mcleod who was attacked last November whilst waiting for a bus. The money secured from the Home Office will also go towards tackling crime, anti-social behaviour and the recommendations of actions to tackle the increase in Violence Against Women and Girls.
